Seniors’ Happiness Centre, formerly named Community Center for Elderly (CCFE) was established in 1993. It is the only governmental health care facility in Dubai that provides a comprehensive 24-hours services of medical and nursing care to elderly UAE nationals of Dubai. Seniors’ Happiness Centre is not meant to replace the family in the care of their elderly but was established to assist and guide the respective family when necessary. The clients for long term care are those who do not have first degree relatives. The family members and care givers of the Elderly inpatients admitted for temporary stay are trained based on scientific principles to care for their elderly effectively and efficiently at their homes once discharge.
